Welcome! A Little About GPRW …

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Wisconsin, Inc. takes in Great Pyrenees dogs who are encountering hard times.

Some have been abandoned or neglected. Sometimes an owner has died. Others are surrendered by loving owners who can no longer care for their dog.

We provide care, training and love until “forever homes” are found with ore than 300 Great Pyrenees placed in forever homes since we began in 2007.

Join us on our journey helping this wonderful breed.

Meet Ms. Gracie Dabai.

Our Featured Dog

Gracie came to us 1 year ago. Her owner claimed members of her family were very cruel to Gracie.

They kept her locked inside a crate , inside a garage with a shock collar tightly around her neck. The owner was in tears and it was obvious she was doing what she could for Gracie.

Gracie Dabai did have large lesions around her neck and her bark was raspy.
This brave girl did fully recover physically. She has a sweet temperament. She can be fearful of men with hats but that is the only residual fear we see.

Gracie Dabai was adopted by a wonderful family. The family how ever is now going thru a divorce and cannot keep Gracie or her best bud , a golden retriever.

Gracie is house trained. Good with other dogs and LOVES kids.

If you have a fenced yard, room in your home and heart please consider adopting Gracie.
