GPRW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Dog rescue is expensive. Medical care, food, and housing for a giant breed dog is even more expensive and requires a constant outflow of cash.
Just feeding our Pyrs – not exactly an optional activity – requires 12-14 extra-large bags of dog food every month!
There are a variety of ways to contribute to GPRW. Our dogs receive routine medical care at the Lakeside Animal Hospital in Oshkosh, WI. We are especially proud of our work with special needs dogs. Hank and Tilly came to us with the devastating news that both were heartworm positive. Holly came to us needing extensive surgery on both of her back legs. Isabel needed three reconstructive surgeries to repair her damaged knee and Wally, Isabel’s friend, developed a skin condition that caused him to lose most of his coat. These dogs are expensive to treat and rehabilitate. They need support of all kinds, including yours.
